Does Assistable work with GoHighLevel?
Yes. Assistable provides voice and conversational AI for GoHighLevel, also called GHL. Build agents in the dashboard for inbound calls, outbound follow-up, chat and appointment booking. Agencies can add branded client portals, assistant templates and Stripe usage rebilling on supported plans. Assistable connects to your HighLevel subaccounts; it is separate from HighLevel’s native AI products.
From the first conversation to the next action.
Choose the outcome first. A receptionist needs a reliable destination for unanswered transfers. A sales agent needs qualification criteria and the right calendar. A follow-up agent needs a clear reason to contact the lead and a rule for stopping.
| Workflow | What Assistable can do | What you configure |
|---|---|---|
| Inbound calls | Answer questions, qualify callers and transfer to a person. | Knowledge, routing rules, destinations and fallback. |
| Outbound follow-up | Call a HighLevel contact from a workflow. | Trigger, contact eligibility, assistant and next step. |
| Appointment booking | Check availability and book through connected calendar tools. | Calendar access, service selection and confirmation rules. |
| Chat | Respond to SMS and live chat using the assigned assistant. | Active Tags, instructions and human takeover behavior. |
Start in the dashboard.
Standard setup uses the assistant builder, knowledge and tools. Visual flows help structure conversation paths; custom tools and APIs extend the setup when your business needs another system or action.
Connect the right location
Generate the HighLevel authorization link in Assistable. Have the subaccount owner authorize access, then check that the intended account appears.
Configure one useful agent
Set its job, knowledge, allowed actions and escalation destination. Attach the phone and calendar tools needed for that workflow.
Prove the result
Run a test conversation and inspect the resulting calendar event, contact record and handoff. A spoken confirmation alone is not proof that an action completed.
Understand which product owns the conversation.
HighLevel offers its own Voice AI for phone conversations and Conversation AI for messaging. Assistable connects its agents to HighLevel as a separate product. Evaluate the workflow, operating controls and total cost you need rather than assuming every product labeled conversational AI has the same channel coverage.
Assign one responder to each workflow. If native and third-party agents both act on the same trigger, your lead can receive duplicate calls or replies. Keep calendars, contact changes and escalation ownership explicit.
Built for the way agencies operate.
Turn a working receptionist or booking agent into a repeatable client service. Assistable snapshots can clone prepared assistants and apply feature access, usage limits and rebilling defaults to new subaccounts. Your team adapts each agent to the client’s services, calendars and escalation rules. Snapshot changes apply to future accounts, not existing ones.
On plans that include white labeling and rebilling, clients can use a portal with your logo, colors and domain, and fund usage at the rates you set through Stripe. You keep HighLevel as the CRM while operating the AI service from Assistable.
Choose the first workflow to put into production.
Start with a defined lead source, one calendar or destination, and a named person who reviews failures. Expand after you can trace each conversation to the correct outcome. The guides below cover booking, response time and cost without assuming a particular deployment size.
Common questions
Do I need to write code to start?
Standard agent configuration happens in the dashboard. Connecting tools, configuring workflows and testing results still require setup. APIs and custom tools are available for extensions; they are not the required entry point for every deployment.
Will connecting HighLevel automatically write every call into the CRM?
No. Configure the required contact actions and post-call workflow. Assistable documents mapping call summaries and transcripts into HighLevel custom fields or notes, then verifying those records.
