What is enterprise voice AI?

Enterprise voice AI handles phone conversations and the business actions behind them, such as qualification, appointment requests and human transfers. Assistable is a configurable voice and chat agent platform with dashboard setup, visual flows, staged publishing and tools that connect conversations to business systems. Evaluate it when you need control over the workflow and evidence of what happened after the call, alongside the voice experience.

Turn the conversation into a completed next step

For a revenue team, that can mean collecting the required qualification details and connecting an interested prospect to sales. For a service team, it can mean retrieving the relevant information, acting through an approved business tool and handing an exception to a person. Configure each workflow around your approved actions and escalation rules.

Assistable can answer an assigned number, receive outbound requests from HighLevel workflows or place calls through its public API. Standard assistant setup starts in the dashboard. APIs extend the deployment when your systems or triggers require a custom connection. Review outbound eligibility and contact preferences before launch.

When Assistable belongs on your shortlist

The buying question is whether your team can operate the customer journey as well as automate it. These documented controls give you specific things to inspect during an evaluation.

Connect the conversation to your business systems

An agent's promise should match what the connected system confirms. Assistable's documented platform tools cover availability, booking, contact updates, notes and follow-up tasks. Request nodes can call external APIs and expose the response status or error for the next branch in a flow.

Separate a native integration from a custom API connection during evaluation. Assistable Direct supports native contacts, conversations and messages without HighLevel; the public Appointments resource remains HighLevel-scoped. A standalone booking deployment needs its own verified calendar path. Bring your CRM and telephony requirements so the supported connection and implementation owner are explicit.

Give the human conversation a good starting point

Assistable supports configured warm and cold call transfers. A warm transfer shares the caller's context with the receiving person; a cold transfer forwards the call without that briefing. Define which requests should transfer, who receives them and what should happen when nobody answers.

In the published 1-minute-41-second demonstration, the caller requests Mike at 0:51, the agent announces the transfer at 0:57, and Mike is introduced at 1:20. You can hear the hold music and the conversation continue. The receiving person's private briefing is not separately audible. Use this caller-side evidence to start your review, then test your own destination and unanswered-call behavior.

Agree on ownership before expanding

Scope the first workflow, integration work, data review and operating responsibilities together. Name the person who approves the business rules, the team that maintains each connection and the owner of exceptions after launch. Confirm support arrangements and capacity requirements in the proposal.

Use representative calls to review task completion, response delays, tool failures and human handoff. Define success in your own terms: qualified conversations per eligible lead, completed bookings or reduced manual coordination. Set those targets before the pilot and report unsuccessful attempts as well as successful ones.

Common questions

How is voice AI different from conversational AI?

Voice AI focuses on spoken interactions, including phone connection, audio, turn-taking and transfers. Conversational AI also covers text channels and the business context and actions behind a conversation. Use the Assistable platform overview to evaluate that broader scope.

Can I evaluate Assistable without replacing my whole operation?

Start the evaluation with a defined workflow, destination systems and acceptance tests. Agree which phone numbers and traffic would enter a pilot, how people receive exceptions and what remains with the existing team. The final deployment scope determines the required integration work.

Do enterprises need HighLevel or a developer to use Assistable?

Standard assistants are configured in the dashboard. HighLevel is one supported operating model; Assistable Direct also provides native contacts, conversations and messages without HighLevel. Direct provisioning and custom system connections use APIs. The public Appointments resource remains HighLevel-scoped, so agree on a separate verified calendar connection for a Direct booking deployment.
