Your escalation path
If opportunities are slipping between the first inquiry and the next step, that is where to start. A missed call. A lead waiting for a response. An appointment that needs rescheduling. A customer repeating their question to find the right person. Assistable gives you a way to handle that work consistently and measure whether it is improving your business.
Put more of your demand to work
You have already invested in getting people interested. The next question is how well your business responds.
- Answer inbound demand. Give callers and website visitors a way to ask questions, explain what they need and take the next step, including outside your team's staffed hours.
- Qualify before the handoff. Collect the details that determine fit, such as service area, requirements, timing or budget, before passing the conversation to sales.
- Follow up with eligible leads. Use outbound calling and messaging workflows to reconnect with interested prospects or reactivate existing contacts, with defined timing and stopping rules.
- Make scheduling easier. Check a connected calendar, book an available appointment or help change an existing booking through the tools your deployment supports.
For your team, that can mean less time repeating intake questions and more time working with people who are ready for a useful conversation.
Keep helping after the first sale
The customer relationship continues after the booking or purchase. An agent can answer routine questions from your approved information, collect a service request, create a follow-up task or route a customer to the appropriate person.
For businesses with repeat purchases or renewals, you can also scope follow-up around those moments. The agent might gather a customer's requirements or arrange a conversation with their account team. Your business defines the offer, timing and eligibility; the connected systems provide the information needed to act.
This is where a customer lifecycle approach becomes useful: one platform for the conversations that bring people in and the service that gives them a reason to stay.
What that looks like in one customer journey
Consider this illustrative example of a configured workflow for a service business.
- An interested prospect reaches out. They call after hours or open your website chat to ask about a service. The agent answers using your approved business information.
- The agent checks fit. It asks about the requested service, location and timing, then uses your rules or connected tools to determine the appropriate next step.
- The prospect chooses an appointment. The agent checks the connected calendar and confirms the booking after the scheduling tool succeeds.
- Your team receives the context. Configured contact updates and notes capture the relevant details. A request that needs human judgment can go to your team instead, using a call transfer or a follow-up task.
- The conversation can continue. If the customer needs to change their appointment, the agent can help through the supported rescheduling tools. You can also configure follow-up for missed appointments or outstanding requests.
Your team begins with the customer's request and the work already completed. Watch an actual AI-to-human call handoff to hear one part of that experience.
Give customers useful answers and actions
An effective agent needs access to the information and actions behind a conversation.
In Assistable, you configure business knowledge, instructions and tools together. That can include your services, policies and FAQs, along with actions such as checking availability, updating contact details, creating notes or calling a business API.
Voice, SMS, WhatsApp and web chat give you options for meeting customers where they already communicate. We confirm the channel connections and account setup for your deployment.
Some answers benefit from a visual. Card Builder, currently in preview, lets you turn eligible tool results into branded cards, such as service options or product details, with interactive links in supported website chat experiences.
Keep your rules clear and your work reviewable
Your team decides what the agent can do, where it should stop and when a person takes over.
Flow Builder makes conversation paths, conditions, tool calls and human transfers visible. Drafts and published flow versions let you review changes before moving them into the customer experience.
After conversations finish, monitoring rules can flag issues for review. Recordings, transcripts and available tool results help your team understand what happened and improve the setup. Define the exceptions you care about, give alerts an owner and keep human escalation part of the design.
During an evaluation, test an ordinary request, an unavailable answer, a failed tool and an unanswered transfer. Those situations show how the agent behaves when the conversation gets difficult. Our trust center provides a starting point for reviewing security and data requirements.
Built around the way your business operates
For a small business, a useful first deployment might answer incoming inquiries and book one type of appointment. Start with the work that is frequent, clearly defined and valuable when completed.
For an agency or franchise, Assistable supports client accounts, reusable agent configurations and, on eligible plans, branded portals and usage rebilling. Each business keeps its own setup, connections and routing. Explore Assistable for agencies.
For an enterprise team, the discussion extends to volumes, business systems, access, data handling, change control and operational ownership. We scope the customer journey and its dependencies together. Explore enterprise voice AI.
Measure the business result
Choose the metric that reflects why you are deploying the agent:
- Response time and contact rate for new inquiries.
- SQL volume and qualified pipeline for sales qualification.
- Completed bookings and show rate for appointment workflows.
- Revenue per rep when reducing repetitive sales work.
- Renewal rate, ARPU or expansion revenue when supporting existing-customer workflows.
These are evaluation targets, not promised improvements. Pair conversation outcomes and agent cost reporting with your CRM and revenue data. Compare the result with your starting point and include the full cost of the deployment.
Common questions before getting started
Will we have to replace our CRM?
That depends on the workflow, but replacing your CRM is not the default starting point. Assistable connects to supported systems and can use custom tools and APIs for other requirements. We review your existing tools, confirm the supported connections and identify any implementation work.
Do we need a developer?
Standard agent setup happens in the dashboard. Custom systems and more complex workflows can require technical work. We can help define the implementation and ongoing support your team needs in the proposal.
How much does it cost?
Scoped deployments start with quarterly commitments. Your proposal covers the agreed workflows, volume, implementation and support, with usage charged separately. Agency subscriptions have separate offers. The pricing page lists usage components so you can assess the complete cost rather than a base per-minute rate alone.
Let's find the first workflow worth improving
Bring the process that is costing your team time or losing opportunities. You do not need a finished technical brief.
On the call, we will work through your customer journey, current systems, expected volume and the result you want to improve. We will identify a sensible first workflow, explain the required connections and discuss scope, pricing and rollout.
The starting point is your business. The next step is a clear plan for putting Assistable to work in it.
