Build and refine AI agents with Ask Able

Turn a business brief into an AI agent your team can inspect, refine, and approve. Ask Able brings assistant configuration and Agent Flow design into a conversation, helping you move from an operational goal to a saved setup with a clear review process.

Describe the job, identify the account, and work through the proposed changes. Able can help create an assistant, adjust its instructions and settings, connect existing resources, and prepare a native Agent Flow. Your team keeps control of the decisions that change how the agent operates.

Start with the customer interaction

A useful brief explains what a good conversation should accomplish. Name the customer, the information the agent needs, the next action, and the circumstances that require a person.

For example, a home services team could ask for an agent that explains its services, collects a customer's location and needs, and uses an existing scheduling tool when the customer is ready. The brief could specify the approved knowledge base, preferred voice, and questions to ask before offering an appointment.

This is an illustrative workflow, with a concrete set of requirements to review. Add the boundaries your business cares about, such as service areas, information the agent must confirm, and situations where it should stop and ask for help.

Configure the assistant and shape its workflow

Ask Able supports creating and updating assistants, including their prompt, model, voice, and chat settings. It can attach existing tools and knowledge bases so the assistant has the resources needed for the requested job. That makes it useful for refining an existing agent as well as starting a new one.

For a conversation that needs defined steps and branches, Able can help create and edit a native Agent Flow. Drafting, publishing, and assigning that flow are separate operations. Your team can inspect the workflow in Flow Builder as part of the review.

Flow changes can use supported steps, variables, routes, and tools already attached to the flow. Prepare any required integration and its credentials through the appropriate setup process. Able's flow-building work uses those existing resources rather than creating arbitrary integrations from a description.

A practical path from brief to tested agent

1. Define the result you want

Choose the intended account and explain the agent's purpose. Include the audience, language, relevant information, required actions, and conditions for human involvement. Identify an existing assistant if you want to improve one.

Be specific about success. “Collect the customer's service location before discussing appointment options” gives the build a requirement that your team can inspect and later test.

2. Review the plan

Able establishes an acceptance plan before preparing build changes. Use it to check that the requested behavior is represented and that any unsupported or manual work is visible.

For the service example, review the proposed assistant instructions, knowledge attachment, and scheduling path. Resolve missing resources before treating the workflow as ready. Agreement on the plan sets the direction; each business change still needs its own approval.

3. Approve the specific changes

Review the proposed updates before they are applied. Check the selected assistant, instructions, settings, and resource attachments. For an Agent Flow, inspect the changes to its steps and routes.

Saving a draft, publishing a reviewed flow, and assigning that flow to an assistant each require separate approval. Approving an earlier step does not authorize the later ones. This lets the person responsible for the deployment decide when each change should take effect.

4. Inspect what was saved

Able reads the saved resources back and presents the result in a build artifact, including missing settings or requirements that remain unresolved. Use that result to inspect the assistant configuration and, where requested, the flow's published revision.

Check that the expected voice, instructions, tools, and knowledge are attached to the right assistant. A saved-configuration check tells you what is in place. Successful calls, bookings, and external actions require their own workflow tests.

5. Test the customer experience

Run the intended conversation through your normal testing process with appropriate authorization. Listen to the voice experience, inspect chat responses, and confirm how connected tools behave. Include a typical request and a case where information is missing or the customer falls outside the intended path.

If the agent returns useful product, service, or appointment details, consider how those results should appear. Card Builder can give eligible tool results a configurable visual format, with delivery behavior that depends on the channel.

Bring the findings back into the next refinement. A precise observation, such as asking for the service location too late, creates a useful brief for the next reviewed change.

Keep ownership clear as the agent evolves

Ask Able works within the account's permissions, enabled features, and subscription access. A viewer has read-only access. The conversation gives an authorized team member a way to prepare and review supported changes while preserving those boundaries.

The same approach suits ongoing improvements: define the change, review its scope, inspect the saved result, and test the affected customer journey. Teams can develop the conversation and its configuration together while keeping publication and assignment deliberate.

Common questions about Ask Able

Can Ask Able improve an existing AI agent?

Yes. It can help update supported assistant settings, including instructions, model, voice, and chat configuration, and attach existing tools and knowledge. Identify the account and assistant, then describe the change you want to review.

Does approving a plan publish the agent?

No. Each business change has its own approval. Publishing an Agent Flow and assigning its reviewed published revision to an assistant are separate decisions. A draft edit does not authorize either action.

What does the build artifact verify?

It reports checks against saved resources, such as assistant settings, attachments, and the requested flow revision. It does not establish that a real call sounded right, an appointment was booked, or an external integration completed its work. Test those outcomes in the intended workflow.

Who can use Ask Able to make changes?

Access follows the account's role, enabled features, and subscription permissions. Viewers remain read-only. Ask our team to confirm the supported setup for your account and the resources your workflow needs.
