Calling records

Example records

3 calls blocked in the last 7 days. Most common: contacts on the Do Not Call list.

2

Contacts on the Do Not Call list

These numbers are registered on a Do Not Call list, so we blocked the call on purpose.

No action needed. These contacts stay blocked unless they are removed from the list.

1

Contacts set to Do Not Disturb

Do Not Disturb is switched on for these contacts in the CRM.

Review the contact preference and the applicable permission before changing suppression.

Follow the request from its source to the review.

Call Defense brings attribution, applicable screening and the response process together. This is the service workflow, rather than an application-screen demonstration.

  1. Establish the context

Connect the request to the intended contact, calling account and available lead-source information. Keep the evidence of permission alongside that context.

  2. Review the calling controls

Account for applicable DNC and DND records, contact preferences and number-reassignment evidence. Missing attribution requires additional screening, not presumed permission.

  3. Support the response

If a call is challenged, Assistable helps assemble and explain the retained attribution and call evidence so your team can prepare its response.

Make the outreach accountable.

Understand the lead’s origin

Give the reviewer the available source context for why the outbound request entered the calling workflow.

Keep preferences part of the process

Bring suppression information and customer-specific choices into the review of the applicable calling path.

Have help with a challenged call

Claims-response assistance is included by default. Work with Assistable on the evidence and response instead of starting the review alone.

Keep permission, screening and evidence distinct.

Build the outbound program around its purpose, the recipient’s choices and the records you can actually produce.

Document permission

Lead attribution and a DNC result do not establish consent for a call. Preserve the permission required for the purpose and technology, including customer opt-outs.

Confirm the telephony boundary

Standard protection is included with Assistable-managed telephony. Customers who opt out of that protection must use their own telephony.

Retain the review evidence

Agree on source records, recording, retention and authorized access. Assistance with a response does not guarantee a legal outcome.

Product capabilities and architecture

Call Defense is Assistable’s outbound calling protection and evidence workflow. It brings together lead attribution, do-not-call and do-not-disturb controls, number-reassignment review and help reviewing challenged calls. Standard protection is included with Assistable-managed telephony. Claims-response assistance is included for every customer.

From the source of the lead to the record of the call.

Lead attribution
Use available source information to understand how a contact entered the calling workflow. Distinguish a sourced inquiry from a record with missing attribution.
DNC and DND controls
Bring platform and internal do-not-call records together with contact-level do-not-disturb preferences from native records and supported CRM connections.
Number and registry review
Review applicable registry information and number-reassignment evidence alongside the lead record. Keep a number’s status separate from the evidence of the recipient’s permission.
Records for review
Inspect retained call details, transcripts and recordings where available. Export supported call data or retrieve it through the API for your internal review process.

Protection connected to the calling operation.

Make the contact record, calling route and review process work together.

Request-to-call continuity
Account, contact and call identifiers give your team a way to connect the outbound request with the interaction being reviewed.
Native and connected records
Use the contact preferences and source evidence available to the integration handling the request. Agree on the screening path for each channel you deploy.
A clear telephony boundary
Standard protection accompanies Assistable-managed telephony. Customers who opt out of that protection must use their own telephony.
Operating controls and references

Clear rules. Clear accountability.

Treat permission, suppression and evidence as distinct responsibilities in your outbound program.

Respect the person’s choice
A lead source or earlier business relationship does not cancel a customer-specific opt-out. Preserve revocations and keep the responsible systems aligned.
Document the right permission
Attribution records how a lead arrived. Establish the permission required for your calling purpose, technology and jurisdiction. For US campaigns, assess the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) requirements, including those for AI-generated voice.
Retain useful, accessible evidence
Set recording, retention and reviewer access around your requirements. A strong review starts with the records actually retained for the interaction.

Telephony

Route every line to the right agent and team.

Call tracing

Call Defense
questions.

Is Call Defense included, or is it an add-on?

Standard outbound protection is included with Assistable-managed telephony. Assistance reviewing and responding to challenged calls is included for every customer. Customers who choose to opt out of the standard protection must use their own telephony.

Does lead attribution replace consent or override an opt-out?

No. Attribution helps establish where a lead came from and can affect which registry checks apply. It does not by itself establish the permission required for AI-generated calls, and it does not cancel a customer’s specific opt-out. Your calling policy should preserve those distinctions.

What does number-reassignment review tell us?

Reassigned Numbers Database (RND) results report a permanent disconnection, no reported disconnection or no data relative to a supplied reference date. We review the evidence available for your setup alongside the earlier contact or consent record. No data does not confirm that the number still belongs to the same person, and a database result does not authorize every kind of call.

How does Assistable help when a call is challenged?

We help assemble and explain the retained attribution and call evidence, then support your response. This assistance is included by default. It does not guarantee a legal outcome.
